- Durable fabric quality: The pleated panel is made from a robust, fabric-laminated material designed for daily use on the road.
- Insulating honeycomb core: Inside, a honeycomb-shaped aluminium structure provides effective climate insulation – keeping heat out in summer and protecting against cold in winter, so the interior temperature stays noticeably more comfortable.
- Sturdy frame: The surrounding frame and pull handles are made from high-quality, durable plastic, available with an optional felt covering – for a clean fit and a quiet, low-noise look inside
Smart design: how the Dark Sleep Blind System works
Vertical guide cords run inside the frame, firmly anchored at the top and bottom and held under constant tension. The system is precisely balanced: the friction between the cords and the sliders is calibrated to hold the weight of the pleated fabric securely, while still allowing smooth movement by hand.
Continuous adjustment, precise positioning
Simply grip the plastic pull bar and slide the pleated blind to the desired height. Unlike classic roller blinds with a spring mechanism, there's no sudden snap-back – the blind stays exactly where you leave it.
Purpose-built for use on the move
Because the Dark Sleep Blind System was specifically developed for vans, the side guide rails and cord tension are perfectly matched to one another. Even with vibrations while driving, the fabric stays securely in place – without rattling or shifting.
Important usage notes
⚠️ The blind should always be open while driving.
⚠️ With windows open: be careful in strong wind – it can push the pleated fabric out of the side guide rails. In gusty conditions, it's recommended to keep the window closed or slide the blind up.
The tailgate window must be a fixed window!
Installation
